If I'm not mistaken that has one of the smaller metric threads, probably M24. I have Sportsways J valves in my stack of stuff, but they're 3/4 NPSM.

Correct, good eye. (At least we are agreed) I too remember it's an oddball finer thread.
 
Those are not M24, they are 1/2 straight pipe. I have one too but on a working tank.

I have a 1/2" straight thread j-valve, but it's a genaric with a Ski and Dive sticker in the area normally stamped with a name. Have no way to test and it's not in use. If you don't find one, pm me and we can talk.
