Firstly, I don't post much but I read an awful lot - of this place I mean. Top work - I've learned a lot :D

I'm just finishing my DM off and am even more enthusiastic for the sport than I was 2 months ago - something I thought would have been impossible two months ago! I'm off to Sharm on Saturday (no bloody way I wouldn't go - don't get me started on the ******* terrorists... Being a London'er, well it's a bit close to home at the moment) and I am so looking forward to it.

Anyway, onward to the point of my post ;) I've come to the conclusion that diving, for me, is probably one of the most spiritual experiences I have - repeatedly. It's a stunning medium for meditation and self reflection (Ok, without forgetting your buddy!).

I go over to the Red Sea a lot on a friend's boat (He's an instructor) and I even find the training dives to be fantastic.... There's something to be said for just hanging there in 10metres of water watching the world pass you by.... Purely stunning.

I'm in love with my sport :D

"They that go down to the sea in ships, they that do business in great waters,

They shall see the works of the Lord and his wonders in the deep" Psalms

Very surreal. I am in agreement. Down there we are in God's world without a doubt. Such peacefulness and beauty.

Same here!!!

Thanks for posting a positive experience. I'm not surprised to see it coming from a Brit.

Cheers.........
