Spirit of Niugini itinerary

hello,
we are going soon to PNG and are interested either by the Star dancer or The Spirit of Niugini. but the Spirit, there is no itinerary describe.

for the people who have already talen this boat, can you indicate me what was your trip and where were the night stops ?
is it only a boat which stay next to coast or is he going further, by example around the New Britain ?

Please let me say up front that I am biased. In September 2008, I was on The Spirit of Niugini. I consider it the "trip from hell." I haven't been on the Peter Hughes boat, but if you are going to PNG, book with Peter Hughes.

I've been on both in the last several years. Star Dancer is hands-down the boat of choice here. Not even close in comparison to the Spirit of Niugini.

we still plan to take the Star Dancer but our departure is not sure 100%.
I keep a wonderful memory of the Sky Dancer in Galapagos with a great confort, a dedicated and experimented crew.
