Pretty cool angle! Too bad about the bubbles getting in the frame though (but then again thats why I dive closed circuit ;)).
 
Well thats fast. I think it would have been cooler with a headmount although Im not a fan of it when taking video. But thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comment. I have a second design that is much improved upon. More 3rd person and get's the camera up and away from the diver. Fixes the bubble issue and the unsettling feeling of the speed. (I would love to dive closed circuit. It would help me get better video of a different type ;)

Yeah! I have lots of continuous head-mount footage, but the back and forth head motion of looking around is very nauseating. I needed a fixed viewpoint like on the tank.

I like the idea, but the dive site(s) were less interesting than the topside :-)

*cough* ...you should see my 'other' YouTube videos of topside happenings..... *cough*
