Hey guys,
Im a student here in Boca Raton SFL and love to freedive. Being a college student I naturally have no money but still enjoy cooking and eating good food as well as spearing some fish so I was looking to start spearing more. Ive been out doing shore freedives a lot lately in order to become more familiar with the fish and the areas around here. Im about to start diving with my polespear now and was just looking for some general info on spearing in this area (WPB to FTL).
What are some of the laws on spearing off shore?
What types of near shore fish are good eatin and common? (pics are also appreciated)
What are some good spots to go poke fish from shore (~400 yds out or so)?
Any other advice?
