Heading to Maui next week and was wondering about locations and do's/don't's of spearfishing there. Obviously no protected areas and only game fish but I planned on shore diving Honolua bay and Makena landing. I'm just using a 3 piece pole spear not an actual speargun and wound like to take it with me to those locations.
