Hello to all, From Southwick Mass, Do most of my diving up in Rockport Mass. Love to find them lobsta, My wife is addicted to lobster so i have to get her fix each weekend :D.

Ahoy, buoys and gulls,
David,
Just a personal note back at you. Saw your post. This is an awesome forum. I haven't been a member for long, but like most things 'scuba' the people are great. Lots of skilled divers sharing info about everything scuba. I hang out in the video area, so if you're into that, or if you ever have a scuba hangover consider watching some clips from that forum. Some people have some great moments on video and tons of stills in that area.
I'm originally from Western Mass, Chicopee, and have family back there, now live in Las Vegas. You think you miss the ocean?
Regards,
Paul

I don't know if you are aware of it but there is a local dive club in your area. The Pioneer Valley Dive Club meets on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM.

They meet at "At the Water's Edge" located at 1029 North Road (Hampton Ponds Plaza) in Westfield. There are a bunch of lobster divers in the club.

The next meeting will be held on November 21, 2007.

The December meeting is the annual Christmas party which is open to all divers and their friends and families.

Welcome to the board!

Here are some tips to make your time at Scubaboard a fantastic experience:

1. Fill out your profile. This lets us get to know you! Who knows, maybe there are others out there who share your love of underwater basket weaving!

2. Check out the forum on Scubaboard that is specific to your geographical location.

3. Don't hesitate to ask any dive-related questions you may have. There WILL be someone here who knows the answer. There also may be people who are sarcastic or attempt to make you feel silly for asking questions. Keep in mind that Scubaboard is like a salad bar. Take what you like and leave the rest!

4. When available, really get involved IN PERSON. Several of us regularly attend local functions where we dive and dine together. It really does enhance your Scubaboard experience!

Welcome!

I thought it was odd that Dave Sutton was posting here till I realized your'e another David Sutton. Brad here in Belchertown bids you welcome. The folks "At The Waters Edge" in Westfield are very a nice bunch of divers. So you know the lobster spots in Rockport? Hmmm,,, been trying to get my buddy in Somerville to head up but he has some prejudice about the North Shore(Quincy kid). I haven't been up that way since my OW back in 85. If you ever need someone to commute to the sea, I'm another recently returned diver (last fall) with a fresh AOW/Nitrox cert. Don't actually have the cards as I finished the course today, LOL. I also have a personal bug card but I'm still trying to get up the nerve to grab into the holes;however, any bug running across the bottom is in big trouble.
Anyway, Welcome, Brad

Sorry it took so long to get back here, i have reading and visiting but just got my password again LOL . Have been to rockport almost every weekend so far. Going to Cathedral rock this weekend if it sunny, if not it will be lob lolly or whales cove.
