Just checked on an earlier reservation on Southwest from Austin to Cancun for a December trip. The current going rate for AUS-CUN is $275 nonstop. Back in June it was $373.
Also checked on HOU-CUN, same dates (12-1 to 12-8) was running $311 rt ns.
At $275 with all fees and taxes, the AUS price is a bargain.
