I'm seeking info. on such places as Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Wrightsville Beach, NC I've heard of the Masonboro Inlet, also that in the Carolina Beach area there is some jetty and close to shore wrecks (one you can see at low tide). I will be in the area in Feb. or March. Any info. is appreciated. Such as--parking, distance to entry, currents, depths, viz, etc. Anybody going to be around there want to buddy up? Thanks in advance.

I visited the southern coast of NC (early 2010) with hopes of diving but the seas were too high.

So we spent our time taking photos of a couple of the Carolina Beach dive boats. Hope the photos are helpful.

We found beautiful flat seas offshore Carolina Beach (late 2010)

You might want to post this question in the NC wreck divers forum. We are not known for our shore diving on the Southern Coast. There is more of that to be done north of Cape Lookout which is too far from you.

Going to be rather cold topside and in the water. But there are certainly folks diving year round here. Not this folk, but other folks.
