I want to plug site coordinates into MacDive and am having a really hard time finding a source for them. Anyone know of a good, comprehensive one? divesites.com looked good initially, as it had Second Cathedral off Lanai in Hawaii, but it didn't have Wash Rock, which is right nearby. Nor did have a bunch of others I was looking for, yet its coordinates for Second Cathedral were the best of any site I found, most having the coordinates for the nearest city on the island.

Thanks.

Sure. I guess there just needs to be a lot of geo tracking and crowd sourcing to build this data up.

Yeah. I have a feeling it's going to be like a scavenger hunt to find all the sites in my dive log. I'd think about setting up a site to centralize all this, but not sure how much interest there would be. My interests tend to be on the esoteric side. :)

Google Earth is a great source. Many wrecks and reefs show up as 2D objects when you zoom in far enough to go under water. GPS coordinates of your cursor location are on the bottom of the screen.

I have yet to find one site that will cover all locations. Most of these sites just take what their members give them so each is only as good as the divers providing the information. The sites listed below are what I have found so far but I am sure there are more. The first site is unique in that it is also part of Google Earth so the sites listed there will appear on the Google map if you turn on that feature. The last site seems to come closest to what you have in mind. It does not have much information about sites but references other links that do. In time with enough input from people who add information to their site it could become a useful tool.

Thanks to both of you. Yeah, I've found some good sites, but all are pretty limited. So you have to scour all of them to find what you need. And yet in areas they cover, some pretty popular sites are missing.
