I don't know the answer, but the P9 may fit. The controls are all in the same place, but the size is slightly smaller. It may take some engineering to get it to work. If you can't get it to fit buy a P5 there're still availible and cheap(er). Let us know.

Hi there,SONY DSC P5 cybershot is not compatible with MPK-P9 as you have enquired.
CONCLUSION IS:
MPK-P9 will fix only DSCP9 & DSCP2(NEW MODEL)
MPK-P5 fix only DSCP5(DISCONTINUED) & DSCP3(DISCONTINUED)
Buy MPK-P5 asap as it may not be available soon.
The marine pack has a depth rating of 40 metres and I strongly recommend you buy the red filter too.
