Has anyone tried this video camera? Or heard anything about it good bad or otherwise. Cheers.

From what I've seen.

SteadyShot - worth having - almost a deal breaker, its that good! (But only 120' FoV)
Colours more vibrant (some footage it looks better than Hero3, some not)
White Balance underwater is not great.
Need's the AKA-RD1 Replacement Door kit to get the flat port for diving.

Thanks for the reply. Over here in Japan they can be had pretty cheap. I'm thinking as a first foray into underwater video might be suitable. Certainly cheaper than a GoPro. Yes, I was wondering about the dome port as have seen the flat door offered as an, expensive, accessory. I note that it comes with a 5m waterproof case so have to buy the 60m case that came as standard with the AS15. Cheers.

I wonder if this can be strapped to the side of the dive mask like they show in the advertisements for ski goggles... It's slim and small enough to do that I think... I have a gopro3, but the shape makes it a bit awkward to mount on the mask...

Im heading to Tokyo this Sunday so will take my mask and check. I'll report back with my findings. The advertising blurb says you can and it comes with requisite attachment.
