Hello,
I would like to know if there is a way to change from Still to Movie mode without using the dedicated dial on sony a6700. Maybe it is possible via menu or custom button function ?
This question has already been asked on sony's community forum by someone else, but there is no answer.

Thanks

There's a movie button on the top of the camera and housing that starts a video immediately.
Right here. Your housing should have a control to access the red button.

I have never used video mode on my A6400, Well, I guess I did press it once to see and it does seem to shoot video once pressed.

Not sure if this is true for the a6700, but on my a7iv the quick movie button doesn't record the same file format as setting the camera to video mode. I can't remember the file type (.mov maybe?) but it is basically like shooting jpg even if you have the camera set to raw.
