Took these today while diving. Dove 1 tank for lunch and 1 after work. All the pictures were taken IVO Breakwater.

Nice shots!

Aren't they still a little too green? Besides that, nice shots.

Thanks for sharing!

I don't know how to make it "less green". I'm dealing with a Sony Cybershot here and am not really sure how to mess with the settings (just started this so please bear with me).

I'm gonna go out tonight and try to find the Metridium Fields. If I can find them, I'll post pictures of what all I see tomorrow sometime or later tonight.

This whole picture taking thing is kinda cool.

They look fine Nate. They look green because the water is green. When you start using strobes you can add color to your images, and you will appreciate that pretty green "California water" background :). Keep up the good work.

Just kick straight out from the pumphouse by the bathroom till you can look straight across at El Torito restaurant. Drop down (35ft) and find the big pipe (about 24"). Follow it till it ends and hang a 60 degree left, then kick till you see a bunch of big cauliflowers on stalks. When you think you're almost there, you've got another 5 minutes. It's a long kick! Good luck.

Here's a few from tonight. Didn't find the metridium fields though.

I used my dive light and set the flash to "auto". That's really the only changes I made. i really like the nudibranch one.

Nice pics. I like the Dendronotus iris, too.
If you look hard enough at the little white spots (bryozoans) on the kelp leaves, sometimes you'll find a white spot that's actually a nudibranch (Corambe pacifica)...at least that's been my experience here in SoCal. Looking for nudis can be like a "Where's Waldo?" dive expedition.

Keep shooting!
