Somebody's thinking . . . We were trying to figure out how to get our backup lights hand-mounted for tropical trips, because we're addicted to hands-free lighting. We came up with a mount to attach a Scout-type light to a Goodman handle, but this extension idea is a good one, too.

Has anybody actually seen this hybrid reel/spool thing? I can't wrap my mind around how it actually works.

Jimmer is on to a great TDS link....and the web site has info. on the spool-reel thingy. I may give the larger reel a try....looks workable and not expensive.

Wow, that spool/reel hybrid thingy is intriguing (especially after dealing with loose and tangled line all last week). I think I'll write to Mike Edmonston and see what he thinks of them.

Is Mike using the reels??

I have tried contacting the company owner via e-mail//PM but have not yet got a reply.

I would like giving the lg. reel a try.

Cool....I just got a PM from the company owner.....he is in the process of setting up a dealer in Tx. as I write....but will take my order direct for now.
