I`ll be traveling alone this time. Looking for a place to do 3-4 dives a day. Something like I found on Roatan, and Sunset water in Curacao (closed). Good diving and a few people around if I feel like it.
Not in the mood for a live aboard. No Coz, isn`t what it used to be. Not looking for a dive buddy, just people around for meals and dive chatter. (Maybe Roatan again, but will have to expedite my passport, for the 6mo. rule.)
Thanks

When are you looking to go? Have you considered Bonaire?

Our group picked up quite a few lone divers in Bonaire. If someone is obviously alone, I invite them to eat with us. We stayed at the Divi but only ate there once. We mostly tried restaurants in town

Thanks,
I have been to Bonare and It was great. Do you know of a place that offers more boat dives? Alone, I`m not wanting to schlupp equipt. + don`t want to dive all alone. Also seems a bit of a waste to pay for all the boat dives that are shore accessible.
Is there something similar in Bonaire to ccv, anthonies, in Roatan or the homey places of Coz?

most, if not all, of the bonaire resorts offers shore diving packages instead of boats.

I am going with a group in June. We are staying at the Plaza and all the shore diving and truck is included in the price of the hotel.

nope, Bonaire is pretty ala carte everything. No all-in-one places like CCV or Anthony's in Roatan.
I think you should reconsider a liveaboard. The Nekton would work good and isn't too expensive. Both of our trips had singles on it and they all just buddied up for diving, then everyone hung out together topside, meals, etc.

Technically if you add the meal plan, the Divi Flamingo is an AI.

Utila's a good suggestion. Deep Blue Utila, Laguna Beach Resort or Utopia Dive Village are options. All 3 are AI's due to location. Check on the amount of boat dives though as (at least at Deep Blue) it was 3/day (2+nite sometimes) when we were there. All three have shorediving off their property also. March-May is Whaleshark season but it's snorkel only after your morning dives. They have a Whaleshark research program also, I did it last March and recommend it. Good people, good food, good diving/crew. A lot of sand flies though...

What about Belize? Most of the resorts on/near the Atolls and some on the mainland are AI's. Most only seem to do 15-17 dives max per week though. We were checking into it this week - I've never been there. Some options:

Hamanasi
Inn at Roberts Creek
Thatch Cay
Turneffe Island Resort
Isla Marisol
Tranquility Bay Resort

There's others on Ambergris also, Our focus was south of there since we wanted to dive with Whalesharks this spring. Most do whaleshark dives (not snorkels) the 4 weeks during/after full moons at Gladden Spit. For most it's an extra charge ($150-250)/dive trip depending on their location. A couple I've listed aren't specifically Dive AI's either.

There's the Divi Carina on St. Croix also, that would likely be mostly boat diving. But it's not a full AI IIRC. No passport issues though.
