Then try going to a tire shop. They usually have tire weights that they pulled off rims prior to rebalancing a tire (new tire, that is). Those you could stuff in a sock if you really wanted to go that route.

Just take that lead and melt it together into one large chunk.

Can I just use hard weights? Will this stress the pockets in the bc over time?
Yes you can use hard weights in most pouches. It might add a bit of wear, but after a couple hundred dives, usually with 2 hard weights per pocket, my SeaQuest BC pockets are doing fine.

Hard weights will shift around a bit more, particularly if you put just one weight block in a pocket.

Hard weights are also less bulky.
