I put this in a general forum to get more responses, since my question is more than just Panama.
Watching that ultra realistic show Survivor last night, they showed everybody's favorite shark, the great white, as one of the dangers in the area.
Being from No. Cal., I immediately dismissed it as incorrect but looking at my handy little shark guide book showed a range of down and around Florida, even on the West coast of Florida, as well as down the Pacific side of South America, though not specifically by Panama.
So would you see such a shark off Panama? I understand they're ocean going and can travel long distances but what's the reality of it?
