Hi,I would like to go to coz and bonaire this year and take some pictures above and below.is there an all around camera to buy aprox $500.00? for macro shots and reg,pictures.what about e bay? steve,from mich

Welcome to the world of UW Photo - it's addictive, so be prepared.

Personally, I'd grab a Canon A series with Canon housing.

Personally, I think the hot first-timer or simple set-up is the Canon A570IS with the Canon WP-DC12 underwater case. Should fit within your budget, even when including a good set oof NiMH batteries and charger and a large capacity SD card.

This camera is the latest from Canon in the A series and has all the goodies. Have fun!!
