On my recent trip to Bonaire, it got detached from my BC is currently taking it's own tour. It's very positive so I know it surfaced and is currently sailing around the world. Told the currents will take it to Curacao if anyone finds one there. I'm leading towards replacing it with the Nikon P50, but may get another A570 since I can get the camera and Canon housing for 2 dollars more than just the Nikon's housing.

Same here, sorry to hear............looked the other day & you can get camera & housing for $294 in the US....here's a post I made & copied with the info..good luck......GEAUX TIGERS.......

"Actually on amazon.com A570IS is $150(see link) & the UW housing is $144(see link), total $294 with no shipping, no taxes........great buy........

Amazon.com: Canon PowerShot A570IS 7.1MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom: Electronics

Amazon.com: Canon WP-DC12 Waterproof Case for Canon A570IS Digital Camera: Electronics

To the OP, see some pics with this little outfit(in my sig)...you can't go wrong IMO........."

I sympathize! My A570is came loose in Roatan in August. Took me 5 min dive time to realize it. Surfaced in a controlled manner, reboarded the dive boat and the captain took me on a brief tour of the downwind reef--and there it was, about 50 yds from the mooring. Still room for about 30 min more diving before everyone else finished:D.
