My parents are going on a cruise stopping in Roatan and are looking for ideas on where to snorkel and with who. I dove with Anthony's Key a few years ago but I can't speak much to the snorkling. Any ideas?

I dive and my wife snorkels. She loves Anthony's Key because they cater to snorkelers every bit as well as divers. They take a snorkel boat out at 8:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Sometimes she would be the only one and get a private trip.

I'd recommend an excursion to West Bay. Great snorkeling ... when the cruise shippers aren't in. After a few hours of cruise shippers the visibility declines. The other method would be to get to West Bay and then hire one of the local boats to take her out. She'll get away from the crowd and have a good time. I can recommend Ronnie (the "Andy" was his boat but undergoing repairs in September.) Tell him Carlo recommended him.
