Small Camera - Mountable

I'm looking at the GoPro Hero 4 Black for my husband, but am concerned about the over-heating problem. He's going to want to mount the camera to his mask so it's one less thing to deal with underwater. Does anybody have a recommendation for deep diving, small cameras with video? Thanks so much!

It won't overheat underwater, no worries. However the mask mount is probably the shakiest option, I just clip mine on my BCD and hold it in my hand while filming.
