:confused: i seem to remember a post on here some time ago telling where one could buy the latex /rubber tubing to hold your slate pencil.but for the life of me cannot find it can someone shed some light on this for me please.was it a diy store??

OR - you can go to Staples or Office Depot, get a box of their cheap mechanical pencils (so they're long & always sharp) for a couple of bucks for a box of 12, and just use a string. We use these in our WetNotes.

They beat the heck out of a dull, waterlogged golf pencil. They have no metal so I get a lot of dives out of them.

I recommend the 7mm. I break off the 5mm's with my ham hands....
