sl960d battery holder help????

is there a recall on the battery box in the SL960d?
the plastic is cracked and no longer working?
I rried to tape and super glue it..no good
Help???

Mine lasted through one battery swap out. I have it now glued, taped and other assorted fixes to continue to keep it working. They make this marvelous device for providing light underwater and then give you a battery case that was designed for some 2 dollar toy that I would buy at a weekend flea market. Then they have a listing of 18.00 dollars to give you a replacement. Sad

The company has the best customer service, but you have to ask.

I did and they said I could get a new case, which I assume is just as bad as the existing one for USD18.00. I hope to design my own case using higher grade plastic.
