We are going to be in Bonaire in January (assuming that the flights don't get cancelled.) We will be spending a week at Buddy's then move to an AirBnB for four more days. For those four days we won't have access to any house reef. Can someone recommend what shore dive sites would be good for night dives?

Even when you are not guests at Buddy Dive, you are welcome to dive there, day or night.
Salt Pier is a great night dive.
Windsock across from the airport is also a good night dive site, that is open to all.
As mentioned above Bari and Something Special are options, as is Yellow Sub, just south of Something Special.

Too many to mention. Nice ones for sure are Salt pier, Something special, Cliff, Invisibles, Lake, Angel city (include the 2nd reef with the last 2). Try Hilma Hooker wreck for a bit eery experience by night. For ostracods check Tori.s reef.

We found an octopus right in front of the plaza one night. Only octi i've seen there, but next time plan on looking for them more with more nite dives.

We've seen octopi out, even during the day, at Bari Reef on our last couple visits. This photo from October, 2019. We see them on almost all night dives there

I like the short swim out and ease of entry/exit of The Front Porch (in front of Yellow Submarine) and Aquarius for both day and night dives.

We enjoy entering at Dive Friends Hamlet Oasis, which has easy parking and an easy entry. Out to Small Wall, head south through Cliff to La Machaca, and exit on Don's dock. There's a 3" line from the dock to the sandy bottom, which makes navigation simple. Easy walk back to get the truck, and both Small Wall/Cliff and La Machaca have nice variety. As noted, Something Special is great in the evening; you might consider Weber's Joy or Jeff Davis, too. All easy entries, although there's a stone wall to hoist gear down and up at Weber's Joy.

We really enjoy just going there to Buddy Dive. The tarpon are out hunting and its really good.
