Hi all, I live in Portland Oregon, I've done cold water diving and all my certs there but not a fan of it. love the warm water vacationing diving... because of my training I can handle tougher stuff so I consider myself a medium diver - better than a beginner for sure with 50 plus dives but no dive master. =)
looking for either an unbeatable deal on a great resort or a liveaboard. this would be my first scuba trip alone and feel like a liveaboard might be my best option for safety, comfort, comraderie.... if you happen to see any good trips, let me know. Fiji, Tahiti, Palau, Turks and Caicos, Caymans are high on my list. I have two weeks of vacation i must use before the end of the year (rough problem, I know). hoping I can find something last minute at a great deal that I feel really good about. If you have ideas on places you've been, easy to book and travel trips, please let me know...
PS I love sharks and would love to have trips with those - the Bahamas with reef sharks was fabulous but looking for something similar but new place. whale sharks would be RAD.
