I had a Scubapro Go sport [black] fin do the same thing, I bought extra pairs in blue and yellow and now mix and match.
I now take 3 fins , does not matter what colour to dive resorts now.
keep it, rental fins I have used were rubbish, and I will not be caught out again.

Buy another pair the same size, whatever colour, you can't see what is flapping behind you, and buddies [if required to have one] know it is you.

Ha. I would, but it honestly wasn't a great fit for my finning style. Moving to something shorter and stiffer. They were stellar for flutter kicking, though.

That happened to a Hollis H1 "bat fin" of mine. Another diver managed to find it, and the fin made it back to me a couple months later.
