This Christmas will be my first trip to the Similans. Does anyone know about what the water temps are for that time of year? Recommended wet suit?

Thanks.

Andy

Hey Andy, you have something to look forward to :D

Water temperatures that time are generally 27-29 degr C with the occasional little refreshing thermocline

Wetsuit recommendation.....hmmm......well, a couple of my instructors just wear boardies and a rash vest. I wear a 7 mm :D Most people find a 3 mm shorty perfect.

Enjoy....

Karin

I wear a 0.5mm full suit more for protection against accidental scrapes and stings but I have a little extra natural insulation.
