I've been trying to find a liveaboard to the Similans for only two days, -instead of 5-, so far, unsuccesfully. As I'll travel on my hooneymoon, and my -future- wife is getting certified right now, she will only have a limited experience, plus I still don't know if she's gona love scuba as I much as I do.

I read a lot concerning weather, moonsoons, etc, so we will also be staying in Phi Phi, Krabi and earlier Bali, where we plan to do daytrips, we can more or less monitor the weather.

Any experiences on two days trip to the Similan Is.? Is it enough, can be done?

Thanks,
Greg

Scuba cat allows you the flexibility do decide the number of days you spend in Similans; their boat is stationed there and they can transfer you any day.

Bt Similans deserve more than 2 days in my opinion... See for yourself and you will probably want to go back !

Hello Gregorio,

Well, the South Siam liveaboards should start October 1st, weather permitting. You can do 2 days / 1 night starting every day. Scuba Cat started very late this year, not until November I think. You are right on the end of the low season, so not much choice and don't count on sunny skies. Best to wait until much later before trying to book something, as nothing is confirmed just yet.

Happy diving!
