I should follow up.
I have he RealShine (plastic) and AMX (aluminum) protector. After a lot of dives I wound up using the RealShine protector leaving the AMX behind. Why? Largely because the RealShine provides more protection around the overall case, though leaves the rim of the bezel around the glass unprotected where I tend to pull my wetsuit up a little bit to expose my dive skin which I have over the Teric during a dive. Also the RealShine permits putting the Teric in the OEM's charge.
The AMX sold in the US that I purchased is much larger than the Teric, thus it basically moves around. Thus I lined the inside of the AMX with a 3M polyurethane material to fill the gap and keep the AMX from rubbing on the Teric's bezel material. Said another way AMX went from having to force the protector over the Teric to something that will cause wear on the Teric over time. Perhaps the best feature of the AMX protector is changing the look of the Teric.
