Sign to protect coral reef!

If you haven't heard already, the Cayman Island government wants to dredge to make cement cruise ship piers. This will destroy the beautiful coral reef the island is well-known for. Please share, sign, and spread the word to stop this from happening. Not exactly a very informative post.
When I'm asked to sign a petition I like to know what I'm defending.
I did a little reading on the topic and there are arguments for and against and a lot of other issues to take into account.
One of the most interesting sites I saw was
