Hey guys, just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Lake Hickory Scuba & Marina is now offering Side Mount Courses through PDIC (Professional Diving Instructors Corporation) and SEI (Scuba Educators International). There are many agencies that teach Side Mount, and have great training, but if you like the philosophy and teaching methods of PDIC and SEI, now you can get Side Mount training through both. You can even get a dual certification for the card junkies like myself. Side Mount is not for everybody, but for the ones who are having trouble balancing out there rigs, or maybe you want to extend your bottom time (air supply not no decompression time), then Side Mount might be for you. This new course offered is designed for the recreational diver who wants to try something new. It is a great way to ease yourself into the tech side of diving. Take care guys and happy diving.
