astrojargon - 40D Shutter Count
This is a very simple way to get your shutter count on most of the canon "D" series (all but the 1D). I was wondering how many more my 40D had in it. 42,040 towards the 100,000 "limit". Thats 87.5 per day for the last 16 months. No wonder it's all scratched up and I never have any hard drive.
Now for what I was really searching for...focus issues with the 40D. I see a lot of issues with them right out of the box early on but nothing with them "developing" issues. Anyone hear of anything or have any experience with this?
