I put 2 pounds initially for salt water as suggested by another UV-26 user, to start with. Each 1lb was attached near a top of each battery on the opposite side of the trigger handle. Then I put 3 clamp rings on the body of the scooter, one at the tip, one in the middle, one at the rear. Attached at the bottom 3 mesh bags, one to each clamp ring. Opened up a 1lb soft weight underwater. Discovered that all I needed is the weight in the middle bag. Put about 3/4 of a pound. At home put the weight in a small plastic ziplock bag, attached where the middle ring would be but inside. Voila.
Thus, a single try.
