I don't think that bucket is very DIR. The handle is a definate entanglement hazzard. Just the kind of shoddy idea I'd expect from Padi... now if they replaced it with some standart non-buckle webbing perhaps ...

Buckels in the webbing would be acceptable, provided they are stainless. but to be DIR compliant it also needs to be black.

A piece of bicycle inner tube on the harness would take care of securing those dangly shears as well
