but i know the diver in question, so i am not impartial :wink:
 
I don't think that bucket is very DIR. The handle is a definate entanglement hazzard. Just the kind of shoddy idea I'd expect from Padi... now if they replaced it with some standart non-buckle webbing perhaps ...

Buckels in the webbing would be acceptable, provided they are stainless. but to be DIR compliant it also needs to be black. :D

I believe black is recommended but not required. :D
