Is is beneficial to use a red filter diving in the 15-20' range or will I still have enough red to correct it easily in post?

This would be in clear blue water in the Bahamas along the Exuma bank if it helps.

Thanks

If you're shooting natural light, 15-20 feet is precisely where a filter will work best. Below 40' there generally isn't enough light. The filter will replace the red that the water takes away and allow you to use custom white balance to give natural color. Bring a white card to set your white balance.
