Hi all
Im a newb to underwater shooting. Hoping to seek advices. Many thanks in advance.!!

Im currently holding on to a Lumix DMC-fx8. I know its an old model. But is it worth it if i get a marine case for a point & shoot use? I've read up & found out that my model uses the Panasonic - DMW-MCFX01E Underwater housing (approx S$300/-)
I hope to be able to photograph my frens & the marine life.More of general imformative shot for abt 2-3 yrs. Is it worth while to spend the S$300 on the casing now or trade it in for a package with some other camera units with casing?

Im really lost here.

Jonathan
