Short port stuck..

Hi there

I've recently purchased (2nd hand) an Ikelite housing for a G9, the short port has been on the camera for along time (according to the seller) and I cannot get the port to move at all. I can't tell if its just well sealed, overtightened or its cross threaded.

Any suggestions on ways this can be loosened, or is it something better sent off to be serviced?

The shorter port for the G9 housing included a port removal tool which slides through the holes in the port and acts as a lever to remove it. If you didn't receive this, you can order one through our UK distributor Cameras Underwater:

If you have this tool and still can't remove the port then it should be returned to us.
