We're planning a trip to Tahiti, but it's looking to be very expensive. Is there any shore diving in Tahiti, or is it just from a boat? We're looking at Moorea and Manihi. I've read about strong currents and shallow lagoons in some places, but I was hoping there would be at least some places where we could rent some tanks and go for a shore dive between boat dives. We can't afford 4 boat dives a day in this place!
