I was shore diving in Newport today. First dive was at Green Bridge, 56 minutes, max depth 38 fsw. We went in about an hour before high tide. We swam out to the end of the east point on the surface and dropped down to the bottom and headed East for six minutes until I could feel a current coming up from the South. We continued south until we hit sand. Visibility cleared to about 10+ from 5' and we turned to the east and followed the rocks along sand until we hit our turn pressure and headed westerly. periodically visibility would drop to near zero. When we passed Roaring Bulls, turned north and headed in to shallower waters.

The second dive was at King's Beach, 48 minutes max depth 41', water temp 67F.

I was wearing a 3mm wetsuit, which was very comfortable.
