I have a 12" hose with plain elbow on my diverite classic. I find it too short and am going to replace it with a 16" or 18" one. agree on the plain elbow. I got an essentially brand new DR Classic wing from a fellow scubaboarder for $200. Got my steel backplate from the K, also picked up a DR aluminium backplate cheap at divers supply for $50ish. got a basic diverite harness and crotchstrap from scubatoys for about $50 for both. you already have a weight belt. get a couple of extra keepers to hold your webbing where it exits the plate holes for $3.

I got 2 worthington HP119 steel tanks, highland bands, sea elite 300 bar manifold from divers supply in doraville for $1,000 including taxes. the tanks come o2 clean and with a current vip and hydro.

How much did your tanks retail for, Diane at the dive shop said she gets genesis tanks, and sells em for cost plus 10% so, i dunno what that is basically. But i aint g ot a 1000 to drop on tankls and such atm. im looking into getting just 2 tanks maybe one ata time, just to have tnaks, so i can go dive more thn i do.

Martin, you gonig to Cozumel, or are you being grounded that week?

i like the worthington steel 77cf tanks, they have them at divers supply for about 200 dollars each, plan on getting a couple here pretty soon. or a few aluminum 80s would work great too, they are running about 180 new.

those 2 neon green ones are nice, but even though the pics lok good, the hydro was in 97 and i dont have money to waste incase they dont pass hydro.
