Just got another SR1, this one seems unused, the original box is interesting

made just for this new (2008) regulator
the SR2 is packaged a bit more sensibly

I don’t know when Sherwood got the bugs worked out on the SR1 but by somewhere around 2013 it was replaced by the SR2, only minor changes are apparent, parts interchange.

switched the covers, fit the same, the old ones have a touch more bling but nice to know there will be parts for some time.

the big change they seemed to have made is a more solid cover to the environmental seal.
these are exceptional performing regulators, someone could do much worse than one of these.

What is the MSRP for the SR2 system (first and second)?
$850ish but they were plentiful @ $739 and some places offer good discounts, I picked up the SR 2 for less than $600, the NIB SR 1 for $200.

You better stop praising them, or you and I are going to lose our SB cards...

Hope people will not so easily overlook them but that’s saving me a bunch of $$ at the moment, I really kick myself for not paying more attention in the past, I even used Sherwood Triton fins every other day on Curaçao! OMG I even forsake the BP/W for an Aqualung outlaw, I expect to be banned any minute now
