I just got one for christmas...haven't gotten it wet yet though. I really like that it's a minimal BCD. I plan to go to a BP/W eventually and the LDS said it's about as close as you can get to a BP/W for a BCD. I like that it doesn't have the cumberband and it doesn't feel bulky at all like some of the others I tried on. It is very comfortable for big busted gals.

My LDS highly recommended it. I asked about a BP/W and he actually advised me against it because he said the women that shopped with him found this to be outstanding. I told him to order me one, so we'll see how it goes. When is your next dive? If it's any time before mine, I'd like to know how you liked it.

I've dove with with a Halcyon BP/W before and really liked but it just wasn't the right time to get one yet. The female DM at the shop usually dives with a BP/W, but she needs a BCD to help with OW classes and she uses the Sherwood Solaris. Says she loves it.

I'm not going on another "real" dive until March (I don't have a drysuit yet so I can't dive around here)...but I'm thinking about going to the pool to test out all my new equipment. I'll let you know what I think if I do that...even though that isn't a great test.

I own a Solaris. I use it in the pool for teaching and diving in warm water. It is a nice BCD, fits well and is very comfortable. If you have not dove with a back inflate BCD, it will take some getting used to.
