I was all set to order a non-current Sherwood Blizzard regulator until I found a closeout sale, at a LDS, on a Aqualung Glacia. The Aqualung reg will end up being approx $35 more than the Blizzard. I know that being able to get service localy is something that I will want to verify. If the service issue was not a problem, which reg would be a better buy? What would be the pro's & con's of each? Any info would be appreciated.

Get The Aqua-Lung Glacia from your LDS, and you will have a dive buddy for life. It's worth the extra $35.00.

Both regulators are equivalent in performance to each other.

I've had very good luck with Aqualung/US Divers regs over the years. Also the way that many Sherwood 1st Stages emit a constant strem of small bubbles drives me nuts.
