I'm a Fish!
Dumb question. Have a couple Sherwood 6300 valves, the weird T ones for skinny neck tanks. I actually do really like them, but since I don't dive single tanks, I don't have a reason to use them. Valves are about to have the dipstick bored out to 1/4" NPT for use on a fill station and as such need to be O2 clean. Can't get valve kits for them outside of NESS, and since I'm in England, I can't go and measure the o-rings.
Sherwood is historically convenient in "hiding" the o-ring sizes in their part numbers, i.e. G011L is an 011 o-ring. Easy peasy.
Issue is the bonnet nut o-ring.
G1600-200A

1600 isn't a size, 600 isn't a size, 160 is WAY too big at over 5" diameter. 200a I've never heard of as a durometer for o-rings, but that's not to say they don't exist. Anyone have any idea what this o-ring size actually is?

Is it possible they are still giving you the number but have gone metric on you? A 16 x2 mm is about right (16.00 x 2.00 or roughly .632 x 0.080 inch ) based on the other oring diameters and taking into account this one is somewhat larger.

Sounds like a plan ,should be here most evening.....also I am in need of a DIN valve for a cut away so a defective/ non serviceable one is perfect. If you have a trash one, I'm interested.

don't think I have a trash one, and i'm not sure these would be the best for a cutaway, but i'll go digging and see if I have one. If not I think I know a few people that might.

Likely going to be Tuesday 5/2 if you're around, sometime after work. Likely going to come straight from the quarry
