Sherwood 6300 Din Valve

I have a PST HP100 with a Sherwood 6300 Din valve that got shipped to me recently, somehow the tank must have rolled ontop of the dip tube because it got badly bent, I was told it just unscrewed but after trying to unscrew and plenty of pulling (it came out) but it's a pressed in dip tube and not threaded. I was again told by a local dive shop (don't want to mention names again) but they told me I needed to buy a new valve and that I couldn't press another one back in, I took the good end of the bent dip tube and was able to press it in, so it can be done if I can get a replacement somewhere. Any helpful advise would be appreciated! Thanks,
