Just downloaded past year dives from my Perdix for first time. I note that the first dive is 250.7 ft, with a date of 2012-01-06. Can I assume this is a test dive that was pre-installed on the dive computer? Is it standard to have this dive shown as first dive? Next dive is 2018, which appears to be correct.

Mine had one few years ago as well. I noticed in the log before I used it so I deleted it before using.

Yup, a factory test dive.

Every DC i've owned has had a deep "test" dive as dive #1.

If it goes in for service you'll likely see another one as well.

Also, it's easy to delete this directly from the computer before it messes with log order / stats.

Own a few Shearwaters. All of them have a ~250ft test dive on them. They do test them before they ship. You have the test dive in the log. I recall that it comes back as a severely bent dive as well. And that 250' dive was done on air.
