Shearwater Cloud and Petrel 1

I am so far unable to connect my Petrel 1 to the Shearwater cloud. I have read the help docs, the Petrel has the latest OS. Are there known issues / workarounds ?

which phone are you using or are you trying to connect via computer? I seem to remember the Petrel 1's won't talk to iOS

Yeah has to be done via the desktop client for the Petrel 1.

the smartest thing to do is dump SW software, and use products like SubSurface (or others)... SW is a fantastic DC designer, but they are not a software application designer (and that isn't a bad thing).

I love my Petrel1 and PedrixAI, but out of the water, I've needed to look elsewhere.

the bluetooth isn't compatible with iphones for the petrel 1. Was one of the two major hardware changes for the Petrel 2
