Shaw's/Crescent Viz

Has anyone dove here recently (like on or after 6/4) that could give a report on visibility? We're from the Redondo Beach area and are thinking of doing a night dive on Saturday, 6/8.

P.V. and La Jolla each have heavy plankton blooms right now. Five to eight feet vis at best.

Thanks.... that was my suspicion. Did Terranea last Sunday and viz was about 4 feet. Dense kelp but it was all in very shallow water (10-15 ft.). Lots of surge at that depth.

Trying to avoid doing a night/night dive at Shaw's... if you get my drift.

My group did a night dive on 6/6/19 on the north side of Crescent Bay. Viz was decent, 10-20. A little clearer once you get on the outside of the reef. It was very surgey though.
