We had two people bitten in Sydney in the past week, one surfer and unusually one navy diver. Both unfortunate happenings.

I am not sure shark protection is to blame for this, there is a migration period every summer from north to south, sharks passing through. I have to say though I dive every weekend pretty much, I haven't seen any?

Oh and Vic Hislop isn't a fisherman, he's on a weird mission to destroy sharks. He has a Great White in formaldehyde in his place I hear! He was also featured in the Sharkwater movie, don't take him too seriously.

the most dangerous part of swimming at the beach is driving there in your car. :p
